Trust in the Lord

person in God hands

Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

Have you ever been brought to a place or circumstance that you were at a loss to know what to do or say? As if you were up against a brick wall and you were stuck in forward gear? Everything in you screams, “There is no way out! We’re going down!”

Stop. Remember you are not alone. The One who promised to never leave you or forsake you it is here. He’s waiting for you to call out to Him. “Jesus!”

Trust in Him and His ability to carry you through this. He is the always-existing, Almighty One who never slumbers nor sleeps. Lay down in His arms. Know you are safe there. Know He has your best interest at heart. Know that He has a way where there seems to be no way.

Stop trying to think of a way out. He’ll make a way. Take courage. He has your situation covered. Listen for His instructions. Then be ready to do what He says.

Almighty God, giver of all wisdom,
I lean my full weight on You today.
Guide my steps. Author my thoughts.
Do Your will in and through me
to Your good pleasure.
Thank You for Your very present help
at all times.
