Jesus is the Same

beconing Jesus

Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, yes and forever.

The same Jesus who was the Word with God in the beginning (John 1:1), who kept Noah’s boat from sinking Genesis (chapters 7-9), who parted the Red Sea for the Israelites to escape the Egyptians on dry land (Exodus chapter 14), is the same Jesus who came to earth in a body like ours. He healed the sick. He raised the dead. He cast out demons and cured lepers.

He bled real blood when Roman soldiers cut His back to ribbons after He was falsely accused. He allowed unjust men to nail Him to a cross where He died. He rose again from the grave and now sits at God’s right hand.

This same One is listening for your cry. He desires to come to Your aid. He desires a relationship with You one-on-one. What is your response to this person who knows you best and loves you most?

Lord Jesus, I rejoice You never change;
You are trustworthy and loving.
I come before Your throne seeking a forever relationship with You.
Forgive me for the times I fall short of Your divine purpose and plan.
Plant my feet solidly in You to be Your useful tool here on earth.
